    After our engagement and short time together this past summer, we have decided on a date... August 8th, 2008.

  

     That’s right 080808. It is also the opening night of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. While the rest of the world is celebrating the start of the Olympics, we will be having our own celebration in Edinburgh.

    We understand that coming out to Scotland is not a viable option for most people, so we are aware that many people will regrettably not be able to attend the wedding. Though we wish everyone could attend, we will be grateful and consider ourselves blessed with those are able to attend the wedding.


   Because the large difference in currency rates, we have setup both a U.S. and a U.K. gift registry. The Amazon.com registry will be shipped to my parent’s house in the USA and then posted out to us in Scotland to save on shipping. Please be aware that if you desire to get us a gift from John Lewis that all prices are in Pound Sterling.
